European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French Envie network that brings together 53 integration companies specializing in reconditioning and reuse has announced it is facing a major crisis in the aftermath of the negative results of the "WEEE logistics" call for tenders led by Ecosystem. Five logistics sites located in Rennes, Nantes, Angers, Niort and Mulhouse are stricken by job cuts. In total, around 1000 jobs are threatened out of 3800. The closure of the sites is likely to lead to the disappearance of structures that are recognized for the quality and reliability of their work.
