Description
Siemens Portugal, the Portuguese unit of German industrial conglomerate Siemens, will create 200 new jobs until the end of 2025. This recruitment will strengthen teams in the different areas of expertise, notably Smart Infrastructures, E-mobility, Digital Industries, as well as transnational hubs in different IT areas, Cybersecurity, and Shared Services.
This follows the hiring of 300 people in the previous year. Considering 2024 and 2025, Siemens Portugal strengthened its workforce in 500 workers. The company currently has 4,200 workers in Portugal.
Siemens is currently ongoing a restructuring process on a global scale, aiming at the reduction of 6,000 jobs: Siemens 2025 - World.
