Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Satispay, a digital payment service company, will add 400 new employees to its team in 2025, expanding its current workforce of over 700 staff. The recruitment will primarily focus on Milan, with opportunities also available at its newly opened Naples office where 80 people will initially work, plus some positions in Luxembourg.
The company is seeking mainly junior profiles alongside senior roles in technology development, software engineering, cloud expertise, and various business functions including commercial, finance, legal, compliance, marketing, and human resources.
According to Head of People & Culture of Satispay, the company attracts over 20,000 applications annually, including from Italian talents looking to return from abroad. New hires receive permanent contracts, comprehensive welfare benefits worth €1,200 in goods and services, and stock options representing 15% of company value, equivalent to €150 million based on recent valuations.
