Description

Approximately 250 jobs at risk due to the judicial liquidation of Trasporti Intermodali Europei (TIE), the Reggio Emilia court has ruled. The transportation company, which specializes in container transport, has ceased operations following its failed attempt to secure a preventive arrangement with creditors.

The workforce impact includes 50 administrative staff and more than 200 drivers across TIE's facilities in Scandiano, Pozzolo Formigaro, and Vezzano. According to Filt Cgil union representative Marco Gallo, many employees had already resigned in recent months due to payment delays and growing uncertainty.
