Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Ryvu Therapeutics, a technology company headquartered in Kraków, will lay off about 30% of its employees (95 people). The reason for the internal restructuring is financial and also the need to ensure an adequate cash runway - the company has decided to change its portfolio of ongoing projects. Employees will be laid off from 25 February to 30 June, 2025; after the layoffs, the company will continue to employ about 200 employees. Ryvu Therapeutics is a Polish biotechnology company based in Kraków, Poland, active in drug discovery and regulatory research. The company was founded in 2007 as Selvita.
