Description

Chimcomplex, a Romanian producer and seller of inorganic and organic chemicals announced its intention to dismiss 260 employees by the end of 2025.

The company has also announced a plan of measures and accelerated protection and development for 2025. The company intends to optimize its operations in the context of the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies and adjusting production according to market demand. This measure will affect approximately 260 employees out of the 1,449 employees hired at the Ramnicu Valcea and Onesti platforms.

According to the company’s press release, adequate support will be provided to those impacted to ensure a smooth transition of people to other companies in the community.

Chimcomplex is the region's leading producer and supplier of vital chemicals, specializing in polyols, chlorinated alcohols and oxo-alcohols. It is a strategic company for the Romanian economy, with two industrial platforms, in Onesti (Borzesti, Bacau County) and Ramnicu Valcea (Valcea County).

The company dismissed 396 employees at the end of 2022 Chimcomplex 2022 - RO. By 31 December 2023, Chimcomplex had 1,449 employees.
