Description

Hyvia, a hydrogen vehicle manufacturer, is being liquidated, making its 110 employees in Flins and Villiers-Saint-Frédéric (Yvelines) redundant. On December 10, 2024, the company entered financial restructuring due to challenges stemming from high innovation costs and the slow development of European hydrogen mobility ecosystems. As a result, a job-saving plan will be implemented. Fifty of these employees previously worked for Renault and have been reassigned within the group.

Hyvia was co-founded in 2021 by the French manufacturer Renault and the American fuel cell manufacturer Plug.
