Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

In Extenso, a French firm providing accounting and consulting services for small and medium-sized businesses is hiring 1,500 workers in France in 2025. This business expansion aims to support the company's growth, as it generated over 600 million euros in revenue in 2024. In the North and Hauts-de-France, the company will recruit a few dozen employees, particularly specialists in accounting, payroll, social consultancy, auditing, and legal services. In the Ouest-Atlantique region, the company is hiring 70 workers, while in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, it will hire around 80 workers.
Additionally, two of In Extenso's subsidiaries are hiring. Extenso Innovation Croissance is recruiting 25 specialists in green transition and sustainable innovation. In Extenso Tourisme, Culture et Hôtellerie, on the other hand, is hiring several advisors for its clients.
Two prior restructurings have been recorded in the ERM database, with 115 workers hired in 2023 In Extenso Ouest Atlantique 2024 - FR and 1,200 in 2022 In Extenso 2022 - FR.
