Description

The large telecommunications company Tele2 announced in January 2025 that they were transforming the company into a more agile company to increase profitability in 2025. This means decreasing their workforce by 15% over 2025, which means about 600 to 700 workers. The final number of jobs lost is set in trade union negotiations.

The company made this announcement alongside their financial report for 2024, where they posted a profit of SEK 4,4 billion (€ 384 million). The board will pay out 100% of the profit at SEK 6,35 (€ 0,55) per share.
