Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The hospital of Périgueux will hire 137 workers in 2024, including 32 doctors, 78 nurses, 26 caregivers, and a midwife. This recruitment is necessary due to difficult working conditions and an increase in patient stays. An investment of 8.5 million euros has also been allocated to technologies, information systems, and a new nursing home.
In 2025, the hospital centre of Lanmary in Antonne-et-Trigonant will be restructured, transferring medical care to Périgueux. Further investments will be required to improve emergency services, with five recruitments planned for 2024 and others scheduled for 2025.
In total, the hospital has a workforce of 3,100.
