Description
The Swedish Enforcement Authority, in Swedish Kronofogdemyndigheten or more commonly know by the colloquial name Kronofogden are expanding.
The government agency, responsible for debt collection, evictions, enforcement of court orders and more, announced in October of 2024 that they had noticed an uptick in need for their services, resulting in the need to hire over 100 new staff. The government budget, announced the same autumn, added SEK 140 million (€12,2 million) to the government agency. The increase in budget is partially due to the expanded scope of the agency in crime fighting activities.
