European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Shiloh Industries, an automotive parts manufacturer and supplier, is closing its plant in Bielsko-Biała, resulting in nearly 200 layoffs. The closure marks the end of two decades of Shiloh Industries' operations. The layoffs will occur in three phases which are set for February 2025, mid-2025 and the final phase in December 2025. Affected workers will receive severance packages based on their tenure, with maximum rates negotiated by the plant's "Solidarity" union.
