European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Danone, a multinational corporation in the food production sector, established a Danone Planning Center in Katowice, which will employ approximately 250 people. The Center's role will be to prepare market forecasts based on which demand plans will be determined; it opened on 5 December. The recruitment is currently underway, targeting specialists in supply chain management and data analysis, 180 employees will be employed directly by the Center and 60 will be supporting them from the Genpac company. Danone, is a French multinational food-products corporation based in Paris, founded in 1919; it is operating in over 30 countries and employing around 22,000 people.
