European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Logiplast-TeamTex, a manufacturer of children's car seats and part of the Mutares Group, has been liquidated, leading to the loss of 160 jobs. However, despite a €5 million investment by the parent company to stabilize operations and improve profitability, efforts to save the business proved unsuccessful. Additionally, no external company expressed interest in taking over the business.
Workers have organized protests and plan to maintain demonstrations during the upcoming severance package negotiations, aiming to secure €2,800 per year worked at the company.
