Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Vecttor, a subsidiary of the Cabify group, aims to hire 300 professionals for its chauffeured vehicle services in Madrid by January 2025.
Applicants must possess a driving license for more than two years, maintain at least 8 points on the license, and have current, organized documentation.
The employment conditions on offer include a permanent work contract with an average monthly income of 1,800 euro. The company began its initiative to electrify its fleet in 2020 to decrease emission levels. Currently, over 30% of its vehicles in Madrid have a 'zero' emissions label from manufacturers such as Hyundai, KIA, Polestar, and Tesla, among others.
