European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Oskab, a French company specializing in kitchen and bathroom installations, has officially entered bankruptcy and will be closing its doors near Marcq-en-Barœul, resulting in the loss of 134 jobs.
After spending the past year in receivership, Oskab ultimately failed to attract any potential buyers. Despite the impending shutdown, the company worked diligently to fulfill all outstanding orders to honor commitments to its customers. However, a combination of economic challenges such as the ongoing housing crisis and war in Ukraine, made it increasingly difficult for Oskab to sustain operations.
