Otto Group, a company in the e-commerce sector, has opened a new logistics centre in Konin Żagański, where it will employ 1,000 people.
Otto Group decided to build a new logistics centre to increase its capacity alongside its existing ones in Germany. The centre will primarily serve German customers. The centre was officially opened on 24 October and plans to employ up to 1,000 people by the end of 2025; recruitment for various positions has already begun. Additional recruitment is planned in the coming years.
The Otto Group is a German company founded in 1949, which is now involved in e-commerce. It reached revenues of €15 billion in 2023.
