European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French national health insurance system, L’Assurance Maladie, has launched a campaign to recruit 5,000 workers annually as part of the 2023-2027 agreement with the State and its board. This initiative supports strategic goals in healthcare digitalisation, fraud prevention, risk management, and improved access to care. Targeted recruitment efforts include 1,000 new nursing roles and 60 cyber-detectives to combat online fraud.
The ERM database documents prior internal restructuring at L'Assurance Maladie, including job reductions of 4,490 in 2017 Caisse national d'assurance maladie 2014 - FR, 3,950 in 2010 Assurance maladie 2010 - FR, and 11,250 cuts alongside 6,750 new hires in 2006Caisse nationale d'assurance maladie 2006 - FR.
