Description
Bukóza Invest, a part of the larger Bukóza Holding, a Slovak producer of cellulose, announced its plans to let go of 90 out of a total of 100 employees in their paper manufacture in Hencovce, citing organizational reasons. This effectively amounts to a closure of the plant.
The dismissals were completed in October 2024 and were mainly in manufacturing positions.
The company is in debt, upwards of 100 million, due to previous managerial decisions.
