European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Apotti, the provider of the Apotti health and social care client and patient record system has initiated change negotiations with a plan to cut up to 150 jobs. In addition, the job descriptions of around 350 employees may be revised.
The company is looking to significantly improve the cost efficiency of its operations as its clients in the social work and health care sectors are facing budgetary pressures.
Apotti is owned by wellbeing services counties in the Uusimaa region, the city of Helsinki, and Helsinki University Hospital. In 2023, the company had approximately 570 employees.

Apotti will cut 85 jobs following the completion of statutory negotiations with employee representatives. A few jobs have been converted to fixed-term contracts and positions are also being eliminated in connection with retirements. Around 15% of employees will be made redundant. Another 165 persons will see changes in their job content, and a few wholly new job descriptions are being created.
