European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Posten Bring, Norway's largest postal and logistics provider, announced it will cut 250 jobs. The cuts are the first part of a cost-saving plan to reduce NOK 1 billion in expenses by 2026. The cuts will primarily impact administrative and support positions, most located at the Oslo headquarters and regional offices. The company does not rule out further future job reductions, potentially affecting operational roles such as postal carriers. Unions have largely acknowledged the necessity of these changes, focusing on negotiations to mitigate impacts through early retirements and other measures.
