European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The commercial court has ordered the liquidation of Laboratoires Prodene Klint, a subsidiary of the Gojo group, resulting in the loss of 160 jobs. The production site at Croissy-Beaubourg (Seine-et-Marne) is specialised in the manufacturing of soaps, detergents and cleaning products. In particular, it manufactured hydroalcoholic gel for disinfecting hands during the COVID-19. The reorganisation follows the announcement in April by the American group Gojo that it was to cease all production and marketing activities in Europe.
