Description
Jumbo, which is operating in the retail trade of predominately food and beverages within the Netherlands, announced plans to cut 500 jobs from its headquarters in Veghel.
The internal restructuring plan is part of the company’s new strategy that aims to set Jumbo up to better serve stores and customers. The headquarters in Veghel currently employs 1,400 people, and next to the 500 positions set to be eliminated, 150 new vacancies will be created, resulting in a net loss of 350 jobs.
