European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bite Latvija, a mobile communications and television operator, is set to open a new office in Rēzekne on September 20th, which will create 150 jobs and serve as a customer service and sales centre. This move is part of the company's strategy to expand its regional presence and enhance employment opportunities outside of Riga. The company also plans to open another office in Jelgava in mid-autumn creating 130 more jobs.
This expansion follows the merger with Baltcom in 2020, which has significantly increased the company's client base. The new offices in Rēzekne and Jelgava will bolster the company's operations and provide employment in these regions. By 2025, Bite Latvija will focus its call centre operations in these two cities reflecting its commitment to regional growth and development.
Bite Latvija was established in 2005, and its share capital is 99,085,286 euros. In 2022, Bite Latvija had a turnover of 149.8 million euros. Bite Latvija employs around 950 employees.
