European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
CZC.cz (formerly Czech Computer), one of the most successful Czech e-shops specialized in computers and electronics, operated by Allegro Retail, announced the cessation of operations and 150 job cuts. The company had more than seventy delivery points in the Czech Republic.
According to the decision of the Polish owner, it ceases to be an independent store and moves to the online marketplace of the mother Allegro.
The employees who remained at CZC.cz moved to similar positions in Allegro.
The group includes CZC.cz, Mall.cz and others, which the Polish giant bought last year from a group of Czech billionaires.
