European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American telecommunications company, Motorola Solutions, is to create 200 new jobs as it opens a new research and development centre in Cork.
The roles are already being advertised and recruited. The new highly skilled technology jobs will focus on designing software for the company's land mobile radio (LMR) products, with plans for expansion across other technologies in the future.
Motorola Solutions was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies; Motorola Solutions and Motorola Mobility, the mobile phone division. Motorola Solutions currently employs 20,000 people worldwide.
