Polska Dystrybucja Alkoholi, a distributor of strong alcohols, beer and wine, is liquidating part of its warehouse in Pabianice, and will lay off 138 employees.
The group redundancies are due to the implementation of a savings plan. The information of the process of group redundancies has already been passed on to the Labour Office. Logisticians, accountants, foremen and escorts will lose their jobs. Discussions are underway to extend the severance package beyond the legally required minimum.
Polska Dystrybucja Alkoholi sp. z o.o. of Pabianice is one of the largest distributors of spirits, beer and wine in central and southern Poland. It belongs to the Eurocash Group.
