Italian construction company Webuild has announced that it will create about 10,000 jobs worldwide by the end of 2024.
So far, the company has revealed that about 2,500 positions are expected to be created in Italy; it is also specified that 80% of the new jobs will be in Southern Italy.
The company aims to reach 90,000 staff globally by the end of 2024. The move is motivated by the high growth in the first half of 2024, and Webuild expects the increase in projects in the coming years related to growing public investments among others in Italy, central and northern Europe, Australia, the United States, and the Middle East.
Webuild was founded in 1959; the company specialises in construction and civil engineering. Webuild is active in over 50 countries and employs about 80,000 worldwide.
