Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ZS Europe, the Bulgarian subsidiary of the Chinese aluminium car parts manufacturer, will invest in a new production facility located in Plovdiv.
The first phase will create 101 jobs at an investment of BGN 18.9 million (EUR 9.66 million), but after that the number of workers is likely to increase. The plant is expected to be operational in early 2025 and the staff training will start by the end of this year. ZS Europe's investment received the "A" certificate from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
ZS Europe is mainly active in the production of aluminium and other automotive parts, among its clients are Tesla and Volvo.
