Description
Global tech multinational IBM is to create 800 jobs in Ireland over the next three years.
The new jobs will be located in Dublin, Cork and Waterford. The roles will be in areas such as research and development, digital sales, and consulting. The jobs will be involved in building advanced software based for artificial intelligence (AI), in areas like security, automation and cloud computing. The company said the availability of a talented workforce in Ireland was among the main reasons for the investment.
IBM currently employs approximately 3,000 people in Ireland and the company’s only research facility in the EU is also based in Ireland.
