European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The fast food chain McDonald's will recruit 2,000 people in Portugal. McDonald's has over 350 vacancies in the Lisbon region, 270 in the Porto region, 200 in the Algarve, 150 in Leiria and 120 Setúbal. The positions include assistant managers, shift managers, and restaurant managers.
McDonald's has a set of benefits for the workers, including health insurance, scholarships, and merit and performance awards. McDonald's also has a “training plan suited to their experience and role, as well as a progression plan that aims to support teams in achieving their goals”.
The food chain currently has more than 200 restaurants in Portugal.
