European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Grocery food franchise retailer, BWG Foods, is to create 1,100 new jobs by 2025, as part of plans to open 60 new stores.
The company operates the SPAR and EUROSPAR grocery supermarket brands in Ireland. BWG Foods currently directly employs some 1,850 people, with a further 23,000 people employed in local communities across the country through BWG's partnership with independent retailers in SPAR, EUROSPAR, MACE, LONDIS and XL stores.
Since 2021, over 30 new SPAR and EUROSPAR supermarket stores have been added to the network.
