Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Hydro Extrusions, a Polish aluminium manufacturer and subsidiary of the Norsk Hydro group, will employ 150 people at its factory in Łódź.
The recruitment is related to the Polish takeover of the production of the plant in Gloucester, UK, which will make the Łódź plant the largest producer in Poland of aluminium roof rails and window trims for Jaguar, Toyota, Volvo, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce and Scania cars. The company is currently looking for employees at all levels, from managers to production workers.
Hydro Extrusions is an industrial company that produces and processes aluminium. It currently has three production facilities in Poland, the plant in Łódź has been operating since 1999.
