The German mechanical engineering company Bosch Rexroth plans to cut up to 240 jobs in Schweinfurt and Volkach (Lower Franconia).

Parts of production are to be relocated to more cost-effective existing sites in Romania and Mexico. At the Schweinfurt and Volkach site, up to 240 jobs in production, development and administration are to be cut by the end of 2028 with the help of partial retirement, early retirement offers and severance packages.
Bosch Rexroth is one of the leading suppliers of drive and control technology for machines and systems.
