Description
Smart Solar, a Bulgarian company leader in the design and construction of photovoltaic plants, plans to construct a new plant for the production of solar panels in Stara Zagora. Between 350 and 500 jobs will be created at the new plant in the first year, and the number of employees will reach up to 800 once the production of batteries is operational.
This will be the first plant for the production of photovoltaic panels and cells in Bulgaria and one of the first in the European Union. When the factory opens, its production capacity will be between 800 and 1000 MW per year, with the idea of reaching 2.4 GW once the plant is fully operational.
