DHL, the package delivery and logistics company, has opened an International Logistics Centre in Robakowo, which will employ around 500 people.
The new facility was created as a joint project between DHL eCommerce, Post + Parcel Germany and DHL Freight, and is designed to respond to the growing volume of e-commerce shipments; the location was chosen as a hub for shipments to and from Europe, particularly Germany. Logistics and office staff will be employed to operate the centre, terminal and cross-dock facilities.
DHL is a German multinational package delivery and supply chain management company headquartered in Bonn.
Previous restructuring cases included the creation 800 jobs in August 2021 (DHL-2021-PL), of 300 jobs announced in January 2019 (DHL-2019-PL) and the creation of 700 jobs announced in April 2019 (DHL-2019-PL).
