DPD Polska, the courier company, opened a new logistics facility in Ełk, where it will employ 160 people. The newly opened facility has been built to expand the logistics infrastructure to ensure the company's operational efficiency; it will serve towns and cities within a 100km radius in the Warmian-Masurian and Podlaskie provinces. Logistics staff will be employed. DPD Polska is part of Geopost, the second-largest international courier network in Europe. The DPD Polska Group comprises the courier company DPD and the forwarding company ACP Global Forwarding. The company has been present in Poland for more than 30 years.
