American cloud computing company Salesforce has announced that it will cut 700 jobs worldwide.

In January 2024, the company announced a cost-saving plan affecting 700 positions, or roughly 1% of its global workforce. So far, the company has announced layoffs in France. Salesforce is to reduce its employment in France by 170 positions.

It is the second global restructuring plan announced year after year. In 2023, the company cut about 7,900 jobs worldwide as part of global cost-savings measures.

Salesforce is an American market-leading multinational specialised in cloud computing services and products. The company employs 71,000 staff worldwide.
