European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
La Mama, a Romanian restaurant chain, announced the creation of 100 new jobs by the end of 2024. The company’s representative announced the intention to open at least two ‘La Mama’ restaurants by the end of the year. The company is looking for local workforce, including persons with disabilities.
The company will invest €2 million as the restaurant chain had a 15% increase in turnover last year compared to 2022.
The first ‘La Mama’ restaurant was opened in 1999 and the chain has six restaurants in Bucharest.
By the end of 2022, the company had 122 employees in Romania.
