European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Luval group was placed in receivership on 19 December 2023, the company manages 12 bakeries in the Rouen and Le Havre conurbations (Seine-Maritime). Due to the closure 118 employees have lost their jobs. The company was forced to close 4 shops on 1 February, with 26 redundancies out of the company's 118 employees. Following the rejection of a takeover bid for the remaining 8 bakeries, the Rouen Commercial Court declared the group's liquidation on 30 January, resulting in the loss of the remaining 92 employees on 29 February.
