Description

Maison Camille Fournet, which specialises in luxury leather goods, has invested €7 million in a new workshop at its production site in Tergnier (Aisne), which will enable it to recruit 150 employees over the next two years. The new 3,000 m2 building will enable the company to increase its production capacity of handbags for French luxury brands. The workshop will be operational by the end of the year. Recruitment will take place in advance of the opening to train new employees. Camille Fournet has subsidiaries in Switzerland, the United States, China and Japan, and plans to set up operations in South Korea and Dubai in the next few years. It will generate sales of €40 million in 2023 and is aiming for €66 million by 2028. It employs 250 people on the site, out of a total workforce of 600. It aims to have 750 employees by the end of 2025.
