Description

Pharmaceutical multinational, Pfizer, is to create 230 new jobs in Ireland in 2024.

The new roles will be based at two of its five sites in Ireland, Grange Castle in Dublin and Ringaskiddy in Cork.

Despite the company undergoing a global cost restructuring programme and some redundancies in Ireland, the company announced expected overall growth in the Irish operations due to the new roles.

Pfizer currently employs 5,000 workers in Ireland, across its five sites, with 2,210 currently employed at Grange Castle, Dublin and 820 in Ringaskiddy, Cork. A recent restructuring event of Pfizer in Ireland has been recorded in the ERM events database Pfizer-2023-IE.
