European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bricoprivé, a private sales website specialised in DIY and gardening equipment is to close its doors, and management has begun negotiating a redundancy package aimed at cutting all 174 jobs within the company. Despite investments made in recent years - notably in 2018 - the company's performance has declined. The redundancy plan presented to employee representatives includes compensation, redeployment and training measures. Launched in 2012, the site had won over all DIY and gardening enthusiasts. In 2020, the Mousquetaires group acquired a majority stake.
