Description

French payment service provider Worldline has announced that it will cut about 1,440 jobs worldwide, including 330 positions in France.

The conditions of the programme will be negotiated with employee representatives according to local regulations. The company wants the departures to be on a voluntary basis.

The redundancies are part of a wider transformation project, dubbed the ‘Power24 Plan’ announced in October 2023. The goal of the plan is to reduce costs by around €200 million in 2025.

Worldline is the global leader in secure payments and transactions. The company employs 18,000 people in 40 countries worldwide.

Previous reorganisations were recorded in the ERM Database, with 750 job creations in 2017 Worldline-2017-FR, and 300 job creations in 2020 Worldline-2020-FR, as well as the current restructuring event in France Worldline-2024-FR.
