Description

Electrolux, the Swedish multinational renowned for its household appliances, has initiated a collective dismissal procedure that impacts 168 of its staff and managers across several Italian locations. This move comes in response to the company grappling with notable declines in production volumes amidst a European market downturn.

The affected facilities include Susegana with 34 layoffs, Porcia seeing 73 departures, Pordenone with 13, Forlì at 38, Cerreto Ancona losing 5, and Solaro Milan also with 5 redundancies. This decision was formally communicated to an array of stakeholders, including the Ministry of Labour, regional authorities in Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, and Marche, the Labour Inspectorate, as well as national and local workers' organizations and Confindustria associations.
