Description
IDM-Energiesysteme (energy systems) has announced a business expansion, including plans to hire an additional 210 employees by the end of 2024 in Matrei.
The background of the business expansion is an expected increase in turnover of 30 per cent for 2024. The director, Christoph Bacher, refers to 2023 as a successful year. The number of employees is set to rise from 590 to 900, as the expansion of the headquarters in Martei was recently completed. On top of that, the expansion of a production centre for large heat pumps with a doubling of the production area in Spittal an der Drau is to be completed by the end of the year.
IDM- Energiesysteme (energy systems) is an Austrian heat pump manufacturer in Matrei, East Tyrol and is considered a pioneer in the use of renewable energies. As a result, IDM has become Austria's largest manufacturer of heat pumps for heating systems. A total of over 35 million euros was invested in the expansion.
