Letz Sushi is a danish sushi restaurant chain owned by Lars Larsen Group and 223 employees in production, management and restaurants has been informed that they will loose their jobs. The company has experienced ongoing deficit for 8 years and ended 2023 with a deficit before tax on 36,2 million kroner. After 20 years of ongoing investments in the chain Lars Larsen Group has decided to close the chain. The chain has 21 restaurants in mainly Copenhagen and Århus. The chain has branded itself on having collective agreements with all staff and only using certified sustainable fish in their sushi. The date for the actual closure has not yet been made public, however the company has stopped all its activities.
