Description

The digital bank Express Bank, owned 100 per cent by BNP Paribas, has informed around 220 employees that the company will close. The bank is mainly offering loans to private customers. The bank is expecting a loss of 300-400 million danish kroner in 2023 and BNP Paribas has decided to close the bank completely.

The company is starting negotiations with relevant trade unions about the process of closure and dismissals of employees.

The company is closing all its activities in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
