Goodyear Shared Services Centre, part of the American tire manufacturing group Goodyear Tire & Rubber, announced that it plans to expand its team in Romania, targeting an accelerated hiring program in 2024 and 2025. The company announced the creation of 480 new positions. The new positions are for finance, accounting, legal, acquisitions, customer support and supply chain departments.
The Bucharest Goodyear Shared Services Centre collaborates with Goodyear's other hubs in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region and offers integrated services to companies in the group.
By the end of 2022, the company had 450 employees in Romania.
Globally, the group has production plants 57 countries and employs 72,000 workers.
