Continente Bom Dia Portugal (Group SONAE MC) will open 16 new local supermarkets by the end of 2023. With an investiment of €35 million, the Group will create 512 jobs.
In total SONAE MC group has more than 180 local supermarket in Portugal with eight thousand workers. The new supermarkets will be located in different regions in Portugal - Norte, Alentejo, Centre and Lisboa e Vale do Tejo.
The supermarkets have a joint investment in 9,530 photovoltaic panels, with 4.8 Megawatt-hours (MWh) of installed power and 33 charging places for electric vehicles.
